     The role:

    A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced, passionate and committed Early Years Leader to join Council and continue to improve on the operations of our children’s services centre.

    • Lead the development and delivery of the service, in consultation with leaderhsip, which is cultivated on contemporary programming, evidenced based practice, needs analysis and consultation to ensure teh needs of children and families are met.
    • Lead and inspire our team of dedicated early childhood professionals in providing high quality innovative programs.
    • Develop positive relationships and partnerships to foster collaboration and support with families, community, external service partners, other professionals.
    • Oversee, mentor and guide quality curriculums and pedagogical documentation including demonstrated understanding and implementation of current approaches, practices and theories of Early Childhood Education.

    About you:

    With a genuine interest in meeting the needs of children and their families you will demonstrate an ability to lead a team of early year professionals with a holistic approach to the care, education and development of children that reflects an awareness of the wellbeing of children in your care.

    Your strong communication and relationship building skills will see you foster and sustain partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders including parents, colleagues and community members.  You will have a natural ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve desired outcomes within parameters of the service.

    You will hold a Diploma in Children’s Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood or other qualification deemed by the National Quality Framework to be equivalent or superior.
