 The role:

This role aims to provide alignment of processes, systems and people to provide effective service delivery and continuous improvement with a customer focus within the City Planning and Development Department.

This position is responsible for leading, identifying and implementing business improvement opportunities within City Planning and Development. The position is also accountable for managing reporting requirements, business improvement, ensuring the integration, automation, and alignment of City Planning and Development processes, and systems.

 About you:

  • Highly developed organisational skills, including proven ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively across projects and teams, and participate in project scoping, engagement, monitoring, tracking and reporting activities.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to implement relevant technologies and new processes, including developing and undertaking reporting, for continuous service improvement.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with a positive diplomatic approach, flexibility of style, and the ability to establish productive working relationships with a variety of people.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to capture requirements for improved business processes/services and recommend appropriate data, reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high quality reports and discussion papers, and make formal presentations.
